 Sunday 31st May is the
Brisbane Harley Owners Group annual charity ride in support of the Muscular
Dystrophy Association of Queensland.
The team at Brisbane Harley
Owners Group have been preparing for another amazing ride and with only a few
short weeks until the big day we are calling on the local community to help
make the 2009 HOG Ride the most successful ride to date.
This year's ride will take
you South-West of Ipswich stopping at Peak Crossing for morning tea then the
Aratula Hotel for lunch. We'll meet at 8.15am at the Morgan and Wacker
showrooms in Ross Street,
Newstead where we will share a delicious breakfast before setting off at 9am.
The cost of the ride is $140
which includes a full day on the back of a Harley, a souvenir T-shirt, breakfast,
morning tea and lunch and the chance to win great prizes on the day.

The Queensland
Gladiators Electric Wheelchair Sports team travelled to the 2009 National
Electric Wheelchair Sports (NEWS) competition on 20th April, eager
to usher in a new era of success for the team. The 2009 Gladiators were
relatively inexperienced, following the retirements of Tom Dickson and Brendan
Henderson, and realistically hoped to make the 3-4 playoffs in each sport
(soccer, hockey, and rugby league). Nonetheless, they were still determined to
surprise some teams along the way.
